GREENS FARMS GARDEN CLUB
Community Service

Our gardens were planted and we had a successful second year of "Growing for Good" - growing organic vegetables and donate to the food insecure in our neighboring communities.
The club managed three gardens this year: Prospect Garden in Westport, Wakeman Town Farm on Cross Highway in Westport and at St. Timothy's Church on Congress Street in Fairfield. Planting and harvesting was ongoing throughout the summer and early fall.
We are grateful to friends in the community and Ginny Levy of Limehawk Farm in Redding for their vegetable and fruit donations and eggs. GROW A ROW FOR GOOD is spreading.
Pantries that are receiving our bounty are St John's Family Center and Mercy Learning Center.
Our brochure HERE gives more details.
