We have organized a new initiative, "Growing for Good"  to grow organic vegetables and donate to the food insecure in our neighboring communities.

The club is managing two gardens:  Wakeman Town Farm on Cross Highway in Westport and at St. Timothy's Church on Congress Street in Fairfield.  Planting is ongoing throughout the summer and into the fall.

Grateful that Ginny Levy at Limehawk Farm in Redding is contributing to the donations, with farm fresh eggs and garden extras.

Pantries that are receiving our bounty are St John's Community Center and Mercy Learning Center.
